Time Warner Cable BBQ and Blues is one of Charlottes biggest parties of the year. It is their official Kickoff for the fall season. More than 90 teams come to compete in a cook-off for a piece of the $25,000 prize money.
The biggest factor is the many different BBQ cook-offs that go on during the two days. But other means of entertainment are also provided, such as Hog Races, Corn Toss, Dunking Booth, Tours of Uptown Charlotte, Car Show, and of course many famous blues performers.
Some of the past performers to come to the Amphitheatre are Harvey Dalton Arnold, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Nita B, Jake Halden Vang Trio, Lucky Five, Aaron Woody Wood, Nappy Brown, and Many others.
BBQs, live blues music, and competitions, are all packed into two days of entertainment at one of Charlotte’s top ten festivals. With our help, this could be part of your travel experience. We promise your group is sure to never be bored.
